Granite Ridge Chimney: Name explained

1: a very hard natural igneous rock formation of visibly crystalline texture formed essentially of quartz and orthoclase or microcline and used especially for building and for monuments

2: unyielding firmness or endurance

1: a range of hills or mountains

2: the line of intersection at the top between the opposite slopes or sides of a roof

1: a structure containing one or more vertical or nearly vertical passageways for conveying flue gases to the

outside atmosphere.

If you asked me to build the best chimney I could, I would tell you it would need to be:

  1. Made of granite for its strength
  2. Taller than the ridge of a mountain
  3. And build by a tradesman.

That is the experience we provide at Granite Ridge Chimney
